Cut-off marks or Qualifying marks vary every year, as difficulty of paper is not fixed and no. of aspirants also keeps on changing. One has to score a minimum marks to get the score copy as qualified applicant.

If GATE Paper conducted into more than one session then normalized score is given to balance the score.
